GETTING TIME OFF

HOW A SEEKER DOES IT:

You can take time off after having worked in one place for a year. Every company has set guidelines for sabbaticals. If you have sound reasons for taking the sabbatical, you cannot be refused wheather you’ve been with them for years or a short while.

HOW A KEEPER DOES IT:

Long- term employees can take breaks more easily. In case of long leave, some company policies state that one has to resign, but there’s an understanding that you are welcome back. It’s better than training someone new. You took a baby gap and joined the same organization at a higher post. Companies are willing to invest in someone who’s been with them longer.
