
ELEMENTS:
150g green chana
2 pinches of soda
1 bunch of palak
3 tbsp methi leaves
2 pinches of asafetida
3 green chillies
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
3 tbsp mustard grease
1 ½ tsp salt
PROCESS:
1. Immerse the green chana for eight hours. Pressure-cook with water and soda for 4-5 whistles and keep aside.
2. Cut the palak and methi leaves and simmer them in water.
3. Let the blend to chill and after that mix it to a fine paste.
4. Heat grease in a kadhai, add the asafetida, green chillies and ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute.
5. Add the chana and the green leaves paste to it.
6. Blend in the powdered spices along with water and allow it boil for 15 minutes.
7. Take away from heat and dish up warm.
